They quickly get bored and leave him in favor of something more fun. [[Shakespeare Whiskers|Shakespeare]] eventually comes to Mitch's rescue and takes him back to the burrow. A Family Affair is the first episode of the first season of the hit series, Meerkat Manor.
Summary
We meet Flower, the dominant female of a group of meerkats called the Whiskers. Her four three-week old pups emerge from the ground for the first time. When the group goes foraging Mozart and other meerkats remain behind to babysit. While the group is foraging the dominant male Zaphod keeps watch over the family.
