The Hakuna Matata Mob was first discovered in October 2016 when a single female from the Lazuli Mob was spotted with a male from the Cave Men Mob and four pups. In November 2016, Alan Johnson's Beamer became pregnant again and gave birth to three pups in December. The mob managed to survive without any losses, despite having two encounters with the Jaxx Mob. In February 2017, Alan Johnson's Beamer became pregnant again, but lost her litter. In the same month, they began to have encounters with the TB-or-not-TB Mob. In April, VHMF004 was expelled and was absent at the end of the month. In July, VHMM005 left as an explorer and did not return to the mob. In August, Alan Johnson's Beamer became pregnant again, and in September gave birth to VHMP008, VHMP009, VHMP010, and VHMP011. VHMM006 was considered seen for the last time after leaving as an explorer, and VHMP009 was preyed upon. In October 2017, Alan Johnson's Beamer became pregnant again. The mob participated in a wildlife photographer, Gordon's research, along with the Van Helsings. The BBC channel presented this trailer, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05vy11s. At the end of 2022, Finnick's radio collar had to be removed because it had worn out and did not work, leaving the mob without a member to track them. The mob was seen months later by an encounter they had with the Vetkoeks Mob, where 6 sub-adults and 3 pups were observed. The observers could not approach them closely, as the pups were very scared of human presence, putting the whole mob in the habituation process.
Dominant Pair[]
When the mob was discovered, Alan Johnson's Beamer and Pet became the dominant pair, as the rest of the members were their four cubs. After two and a half years as the dominant pair, Alan Johnson's Beamer disappeared in April 2019 and is presumed dead. Her eldest daughter, Flint Lockwood, assumed the role of dominant female after her, so Pet began to explore, but still retained his role in the group. In November 2019, Pet was last seen and it is unknown who took on the role of dominant male. It wasn't until December 2019, after three Lazuli males named Finnick (VLM234), Luther e (VLM245) Israel (VLM247), that Flint Lockwood had a mate, and Finnick became the dominant male of Hakuna Matata that same month. However, Flint Lockwood was found dead by the KMP team on May 15, 2021, with signs of raptor predation as the cause of death, and her sister, Sencha, took on the role of dominant female. Since September 2022, the status of the dominant pair is unknown as the mob cannot be regularly visited and confirm if Sencha and Finnick still hold the position.

When the Hauna Matata first formed they encountered the Jaxx and TB-or-not-TBoften. In 2018 they began to encounter the Whiskers and Storm Troopers until the latter disintegrated.
