Merlot(VFF153)
Merlot
was born January 22, 2009 in the Frisky Mob. Her mother was Bootle and her father was Gazebo, the dominant couple of the Frisky at the time. Her litter-mates were her brother Cabernet(VFM154) and sisters Shiraz(VFF156) and Muscat(VFF157). They survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. The Frisky was a good size mob however a few members disappared in the following months of 2009. At the age of three months Merlot was old enough to fend for herself and the mob expected her to do so. When Merlot was eight months old, her mother Bootle gave birth to four pups in September. Merlot wasn't old enough to help out much with the new pups. In December her mother had another litter. Merlot was almost a year old and soon started to take an interest in the new pups. Sadly in February Bootl died and Merlot's older sister Quaver became the new dominant female. Cabernet started to rove while Merlot and her sisters started to be evicted from the group. Merlot helped babysit and care for the pups that were born to her sisters. Merlot lived in the Frisky for two years before she was evicted by Quaver and disappared in early 2011.
