Nanook(VNMF009) was born into the Nematoads Mob in September 2014. Her mother was Bernie the domiant female and her father was Crusty the dominant male. She had two other litter-mates, Ricewind (VNMF010) and VNM?011. Sadly, VNM?011 would be predated in January along with VNMP012, VNMP013 and VNMP014, all pups of Bernie. Nanook and Ricewind would survive to adulthood though. Sadly in August 2015 her father Crusty would be lost to predation. Her older brother Hiw would take dominance only to leave the group soon after. In December 2015 Nanooks sister Ricewind was evicted for the first time. Sadly a month after that Bernie would be lost. Nanook would compete for dominance but it would be eventually taken several months later by Indiana, the oldest female in the group. In May 2016 Nanook would be evicted for the first time. She would hangout at the edge of the group for several months until September when she was finally let back into the group. The next month in October younger female Laciana would overthrow Indiana who was suffering from TB. Indiana and Nanook would be evicted and sadly several days later be found dead.
