Lazuli
Palestrina(VLM211) was born in January 2014 in the Lazuli Mob. His mother was the group's dominant female JubJub Bird and his father was an unknown male, possibly one from the Baobab. His littermate was Tan Tan(VLM210). Both he and his brother survived to adulthood. In February 2016 Palestrina left the group to rove with his brother Tan Tan.
Zulus
Palestrina joined the Zulus in June 2016. By October that year all the other males had left the Zulus or were dead, so Palestrina took up the position of dominant male alongside Poma, the dominant female. She gave birth in December of that year to Sauce (VZUM026) and then again on March to Spruddle (VZUF028), VZUP029, VZUP030, and VZUP031. Sadly, VZUP031 was predated in April but the rest survived their first few months. Poma would produce two more successful litters before her death from an apparent snake bite in March 2019. Spruddle would eventually assume dominance in her place. As there was a strong chance that she was his daughter, Palestrina was left without a mate and soon started roving. Palestrina would remain in the Zulus until October 2019 when he left the group along with two of his sons Sauce and Langa.
Elrond’s Council
Palestrina and his sons would soon come across another group called Elrond’s Council. Palestrina was able to establish himself as the dominant male over his sons and the other resident males. The dominant female was Tayl Baez who became his mate. However, she was already pregnant when he joined the group. So, her litter born in November 2019 was highly unlikely to be his offspring. Tayl Baez would not have another successful litter until April 2020 when she gave birth in a mixed litter totaling 11 pups. Some of the pups were likely Palestrina’s first offspring born in Elrond’s Council. Tayl Baez gave birth to her last litter in November 2020. She was Last Seen and presumed to have died in April 2021 leaving the dominant female position unclear. Palestrina is still living as Elrond’s Council’s dominant male today.
