Shongolongo (VBM015) was born in the Balrog Mob. His mother was Luella Balrog and his father was Izit. After the dominant Balrog died from possible old age, the role of dominant male of the Balrog was taken by his young half brother by two years, Mbabane. Mbabane stayed dominant for a while in the Balrog. By then Shongolongo and some of the males left the Balrog to rove and joined up with Hannibal, from the Vivian Mob.
