The Side Quest Mob was formed in May 2021 when two evicted Zulus females named Pumba (VZUF048) and Timon (VZUF049) were seen with Legolas (VECM009), a roving male of Elrond's Council origins. As the newly found group consisted of only one adult male, Legolas was officially made dominant, with Pumba taking the role of dominant female beside him. Four juvenile meerkats of uncertain parentage were also spotted in the group as well, although they're most likely the children of the group's dominant pair. On July 1st Pumba gave birth to two pups named VSIF005 and VSIM006 but VSIM006 disappeared the following month, having most likely been predated. Pumba gave birth to another litter on September 19th, with 3 pups (VSIP007, VSIP008, VSIP009) emerging on October 18th. They had their first burrow move on the 11th and foraged with the group for the first time on the 22nd, but went missing from the group between the morning and afternoon sessions on October 24th. The pups were never seen again and were later given thier Last Seen. Subordinate female Timon left the group on November 5th, came back 3 hours later, and was immediately evicted, remaining absent at the end of the month. Pumba was confirmed to be pregnant again at the end of November. Pumba gave birth on December 12th and three pups later emerged from the burrow on the 29th. The previously evicted Timon managed to return to the group on the 20th. Timon left the group again on February 15th, appeared once on the 22nd and was still absent at the end of the month. Pumba has been confirmed to be pregnant once again.
