The Skyfish Mob was discovered in Janaury 2014, the group consisted of a single Whiskers male called Snotbubble and several wild meerkats. Throughout all of 2014 it was difficult to track the group, especially since the only habituated meerkat (Snotbubble) was absent for most of the time. In February 2015 the researchers stopped tracking Skyfish.
