Stanley(VCDM050) was born in the Commandos on October 24, 2008. His mother was Zorilla and his father was Miles. His litter-mates were Labiathon(VDCF049) and his brothers Michiel(VCDM051) and De La Ray(VCDM052). With the same month that the pups were born, two other females were pregnant but did not try to kill the new litter. Also one of the Whisker males named Karim died. The four pups survived their first few weeks and started foraging with the adults. Sadly three months after the pups were born their mother Zorilla died of disease along with Miles and Stanley's older brother Cody. The last Whisker male named Panthro became the dominant male and Stanley's older half sister Celidh became the new dominant female. Sadly the Commandos were suffering from disease and Panthro succumbed to the disease. Three wild males joined the group but soon after Celidh, Cho and Rastas died. With out the collared meerkat the Commandos could no longer be tracked however several of the remaining meerkats were marked with disease. In is unknown what happen to Stanley. He was cosidered Last Seen in June 2009.
